Terms & Conditions:

From the time you accept any charges or authorize any services either being by phone, website, or e-mail you are automatically accepting our terms and conditions as listed below. This will be effective from the starting date until your first notice of cancellation with Green Paradise.

PAYMENT

For all weekly or bi-weekly customers, a billing account will be set up with a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover) on file to ensure prompt payment. The first service will be charged to your card to validate the card. After that you will receive an itemized statement on the first of each month for the previous month. Payment for this statement will be due on the 15th of each month. If we have not received your payment by the 22nd (7days after) your credit card will be charged for the amount due on your statement.  This eliminates the cost of trying to collect past due accounts.

*Please note- For existing customers only – If your payment is not received by the 15th of each month and no credit card is issued you will be billed a late fee of $15.00 on your next invoice.

***Please be aware that if for any reason your balance is past due 90 Days your account will automatically be turned over to our collection agency.

CANCELING SERVICE

You may cancel your service with us at any time you wish, for any reason. However, you must give us a two week notice otherwise you will be charged for the next mowing service. Cancellations will not be accepted over the phone. We will only accept notification either by e-mail or by letter. Take note that cancellations through letter will only be valid once received at the Green Paradise office.

SERVICE ISSUES

We strive to ensure that you are completely satisfied with our services. While we do that we do not give credits or refunds, we will send the mowing crew back to correct any reasonable problems you may have with their work at no extra charge, provided that you notify us within 24 hours of the service either by phone or e-mail. If you do not contact us within 24 hours, we will be sure that the mowing crew is made aware of the complaint made so that it will be corrected for the next service.

A NOTE ON BI-WEEKLY SERVICE

While we offer this service for $5 to $10 more than our weekly service, we highly recommend weekly service if you want your yard to look its best. Two weeks of growth is too much to cleanly cut in most cases, and bi-weekly mowing may result in problems such as clumps of grass left in the yard or an uneven cut, Therefore, in most cases, we will not send the crews back to correct these types of problems on bi-weekly accounts.

DAMAGES TO PROPERTY

In the unlikely event that our crews damage your property in any way, please contact us immediately so we can make timely, professional repairs. In most cases in the past, the damage has been minor (broken sprinkler heads are the most common damage because they are often difficult or impossible to be seen in the grass).

**Please Note- We will not be held responsible for charges for repairs to damaged property that we were not made aware of in advance of the repair being made, so please be sure to contact us first if you believe we were responsible for any damage. If we can not make the repair ourselves, we will hire someone who is qualified to do so.

ESTIMATES FOR ADDITIONAL SERVICES

We are always happy to provide you with estimates for any additional maintenance services you may need, such as shrub and bed maintenance, fertilization, leaf clean-ups, trimming, landscaping, planting, sprinkler installation, or tree trimming. All you need to do is go to our website at www.greenparadisetx.com (there you will find an estimate page where you will be asked to put in your information) or call our office and let our office staff know what you need and we will get an estimate out to you within a day or two. If you get the answering machine, please leave a detailed message and let us know what type of estimate you will need.

SCHEDULE CHANGES

If you need to change or cancel a scheduled service please let us know at least by 2:00 p.m. the day before the service is scheduled so our office staff can make the change before they leave for the day. Any changes or cancellations received after 2:00 p.m. each day will not be executed in time to make the change effective for the next day.  The mowing crews do not make decisions regarding whether or not your yard needs to be cut, so you will need to cal or e-mail if you want to cancel a scheduled mowing.

RAIN DELAYS

If it rains on your scheduled mowing day, you can expect us the next day.

LOCKED GATES

You may have locked fenced areas of your yard that our workers will need to access.  If so, we recommend you use a combination lock to avoid lock-outs. Just give us a call with the combination so you don’t have to worry about leaving the gate unlocked for the mowing crew

**Please note – we cannot send our crew back or issue credit for not mowing inside a fenced area that is locked.

PETS

Please let us know if you have any pets that are kept outside so that the crew can be aware of them. While our mowing crews are very careful to keep gates closed, we cannot guarantee that a pet will not escape from the yard. Therefore, we recommend that you keep your pets indoors on scheduled mowing days.

YARD DEBRIS

Please pick up all yard debris such as toys, dog bones, large rocks, etc., the day before we mow as these types of objects can be very hazardous to our workers and others if hit by a lawn mower and can cause serious damage to your property and our equipment.

INSURANCE

We are fully insured.

POOLS

There is no deduction if you build a pool and decrease the size of your yard. Serving a home with a pool actually creates more edging and line trimming and less open areas to mow. However, we will not raise your rate.

HOLIDAYS

One of our top priorities is to show up on the designated mow day. So, we must ignore holidays if they fall on Monday through Friday. If you want us to skip until the next scheduled mow, just give us a call or email.

PLANT SALES

Customer acknowledges acceptance of the terms and conditions of sale by acceptance of merchandise.

Prices are subject to change without notice.

All sales are final.

It is assumed that our customers posses an understanding of these products and services and shall receive no guarantee, assumed or implied, with any purchase.

Delivery charges will be based on distance and type of vehicle required.

PRICES:

Prices in this list are based upon present market conditions and are subject to change without notice.

GUARANTEE:

We guarantee our plants to be healthy and true to name. Due to conditions beyond our control,we can not offer warranty, expressed or implied, on our plants once they leave the nursery. We will gladly correct problems that are our fault, but cannot be held liable for any amount greater than the purchase price of that plant.
